‘N&J’ is a series designed for two readers to sit together, read at the same time, and talk to each other. Each issue has a unique structure designed to encourage their conversation. Inspired by a new classic novel in every issue, the book’s design changes flexibly to create a dialogue that connects and intersects literature with real-life stories. By reading the Novel part and Journal part—which contains articles, interviews, and opinions related to the theme—simultaneously, readers could share their own thoughts about the context and visual elements. They can also have conversations by answering the small talk questions written throughout the book. The first book selected for the series is Peter Schlemihl, The Man Who Sold His Shadow by Adelbert von Chamisso.
